To improve the yield and quality of vegetables, there has been a trend towards intensive, controlled methods of growing crops. In addition, technologies such as oxygenated irrigation water and Nanobubbles have been introduced to further enhance crop growth. Nanobubbles, specifically, have been found to increase vegetable yields by as much as 30% through the introduction of additional nutrients and beneficial bacteria.
